HIGH ADHERENCE PLASTIC COATING FOR FENCES AND POSTS

High adherence plastic coating is one of our company's key assets. We were the first to promote plastic coating using fluidisation technology. Our expertise in this field led to an innovative approach, which involved first adapting the technique to welded wires and rolls, and then to posts and panels. This choice was made to maximise the durability of our products, which are now widely recognised for their quality.

High adherence plastic coating by fluidisation technology (PVC coating)
The galvanised steel wire (wire coated with a hot-dip layer for greater corrosion resistance) is brought to an extremely high temperature and passed through a fluidised PVC bath. The thermoplastic particles are at ambient temperature and simply fuse together and agglomerate when brought into contact with the heated wire.

Regardless of the techniques used to produce a high adherence coating, there are three essential phases:

  • Treatment and stabilisation of the steel surface
  • Creation of a bonding area
  • Coating

After being cleaned, posts and panels undergo phosphation and then passivation operations to improve primer adherence and corrosion resistance. Powder paint is then applied to the posts and panels electrostatically. All parts are then oven-cured to ensure that the powder adheres to the posts and panels.
